In the Autumn of 2020, Daan Zuijderwijk parked his mobile home on the high hills of Carrara, Italy, a place that is know for its white marble. Fascinated by the mountains that have been mined for centuries and transformed into the most famous marble in the world, the artist accessed the quarries at night and created the current series.
